Duckling Green Children’s Centre was officially designated by the Government on the 25th August 2009 as a Sure Start Children’s Centre. The Children's Centre is part of Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust who are our lead agency.
Sure Start Children's Centres are a central hub of information where children aged 0 - 5 years and their families can gain access to relevant services and information. Its aim is to give children the best possible start in life.

A Children's Centre is a one stop shop offering access to information and services for children under 5 years and their families.
It is a collective network of services within the community offering:

• Childcare information
• Expert advice and Health Care
• Family fun and meeting people
• Links to training and job opportunities
• Parenting and family support

We opened our doors to local families in February 2010.  There is a full and varied timetable of activities currently available.

Duckling Green Children's Centre is open Monday to Friday 9.00am – 17.00pm and can be contacted on 01279 601900.
